You are in a space that is quiet and still. This is your time. Relax and let your Esthetician look after you. The treatment begins with a warm Sage foot bath during which you and your Esthetician discuss your skin and skin care routine. Once your feet are dried, you move to a couch where your feet and legs are massaged, followed by gentle stretching and relaxation movements to your neck, head and arms. Your face and décolleté are then cleansed with aromatic water, and after a facial steam bath, a cleansing mask is applied to deep cleanse your skin. Next, if you are still awake, feel the rhythmical movements of the lymph stimulation and décolleté massage. Day care is applied to complete this 2 hour journey. You leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, glowing....

In the west, we too are beginning to realise that beauty is more than just a pretty face. For example, to keep the skin hydrated we must drink plenty of water, not just slap on moisturiser – and of course drinking more water will improve the condition of our whole body.

Japanese facial massage is a combination of Anma technique (the original, traditional Japanese massage), Acupressure techniques, which concentrate on specific acupressure points, or tsubos, on the face. All acupressure points are located along meridians, or energy pathways. There are twelve meridians running through the body, and eight run through the face. This face massage improves the condition of the skin and muscle tone and is deeply relaxing. This is a massage which works at many levels. Health and beauty are intertwined. Stimulating the tsubos activates facial nerves, thus increasing the flow of Ki, and blood, to the face. A natural facelift!

men’s facial with earthbound organics

The men will love this fabulous facial, using Earthbound Organics products. First a cleanse using a cream cleanser with organic carrot oil, camomile and calendula, then a gentle scrub using organic Adulki beans, organic oatmeal and lavender. A green clay mask is applied which is rich in minerals, this cleanses and purifies. Whilst the mask is on, the arms, neck and shoulders are massaged. The treatment is finished with a specially formulated face cream for men, which includes cranberry seed oil and apricot kernel oil, this is a light and easily absorbed moisturising cream for men.

All our manicures and pedicures use Sante Natural Nail Varnishes and certified organic nail varnish remover. The nail varnish remover is made with natural orange oil and no acetate.

Organic or natural nail varnish cannot be certified organic because of the fixative used in the product. Despite its best efforts, the natural beauty industry has been unable to produce a natural fixative to get the polish to stick to the nails. Sante Nail varnish is the most pure or natural option available. There is no formaldehyde, rosins, toluene or parabens present in the varnish, making it a safer natural alternative.
